I started playing again 5-6 days ago. My last login before this was 720 days ago. I never managed to start playing officially back then so I was unaware as to how the Wilderness is set up on this server.

I have been playing for a few days now and I would like to suggest a practical way which will make the wilderness more fun for everyone. Naturally, those who have been playing for a long time on this server will oppose my ideas because they are comfortable here i.e. sitting on multiple characters they are satisfied with killing another player by any means necessary, but I can guarantee that even these players will eventually realize that things have been changed for the better once they see the results.

As it stands, there are grave defects with the current set up of the Wilderness and I am dumbfounded as to how the players have allowed it to be this way(?). What a waste! I am aware the issues mentioned herein have been mentioned before because I can see many other players online are in agreement with me, but I do not think they have been presented in this way and that is why I am calling for a change to this nonsense (by the end of reading this you will no doubt agree that it is nothing short of nonsense i.e. NON SENSE - makes no sense. Simple English).

Here is the 1st and most important problem demonstrated in a plain way as follows:

I login.
I go to the Castle in the Wilderness.
I kill somebody.
He/she logs into their other account thereafter (which has already been planted and set up at the castle in wait).
I kill him on his 2nd account also.
He logs into his 3rd account and kills me.

What kind of nonsense is this? Where is the fun in that! If you think about it carefully, you realize this is merely another form of cheating except it comes in a disguise. How is it not so? He/she logs in to their other accounts which are full of food/weapons and he kills you while you have been in battle with his other account seconds previously: your health is low and your resources expended so you have no chance of winning. Thus this is a cheat.

The cowardly so called 'PKers' (those players who only enjoy winning/killing other players and cannot take it when they are killed) have made it this way in their desperate attempt to avoid being killed (losing). They do not care for dying once as long as they have killed you on another account soon after. A sore loser indeed! The only option left for the average player is to now retaliate in the same method i.e. train multiple accounts and use this same strategy. A miserable cycle you would agree.

The Wilderness is supposed to be a dangerous place. A place where you are weary once you enter. A place where you can die. Not everyone is to enter it. Only the strong survive here. This is not the place where you send level 3 scouts and teleport all over the place, looking, watching, hiding, being sneaky and logging into a million other accounts until you are certain that it is safe to enter. The WILD is THE WILD. There should be some suspense and uncertainty whenever you enter it. This is one of the main reasons that make it fun.

On top of this, it has been made so convenient to reload your items after death, to the point where within 30 seconds you teleport yourself through the portal, back to the battle field you just died on, and the person who killed you has not even picked up your items yet! You do not enjoy victory nor do you taste defeat because everything is occurring very quickly. This reduces morale and makes everything (the kill/death) feel pointless.

Does this make sense to anyone other than these losers who hate being killed so much that they were forced to find alternative ways to cheat so they can ensure they keep winning? They are in the wrong yet they will say "How is it cheating? It's allowed". I present you with a parable so that perhaps you may understand: did you know that in the country Finland it is legal to have sex with an animal? Does this then make it right?

Look, let us come to a common platform and review this carefully and take action appropriately. Do not stick with the same methods just because you are comfortable to remain there. There are better ways. We must ask ourselves "Can this game be made more fun and how?". I know that many of you have a problem with me because I talk a lot in game. Admittedly, I only do this to bring life/energy/excitement to the game... I do not take anything personally but I see that most of you prefer a quiet server. Imagine a new player joins today and they see a lively global. Don't you think they will want to stay? You are all too comfortable. Like old men and women playing a game! It's annoying me. Let us make changes and enjoy whatever time we have left on this game because there is no doubt that one day this will all be but a memory.

There are many solutions. I am sure some of you have even better solutions than mine. But here is what I think would work.

1. Only allow 1 character in the Wilderness at a time. If another character using the same IP address logs in and is inside the wilderness already, or
    tries to enter the wilderness, they should be teleported behind bars in a secluded location where an NPC will use the "Wind strike" spell on them
    until they slowly die. Or teleport them to the far corner of the World Map and block them from using the ::edge command so they have to walk.

2. When a person dies there should be at least a (minimum) 2-3 minute delay before they can enter the Wilderness again via portals. If they try to
    login to another account which is outside of the Wilderness, and try use the portals, they should still be blocked for the delayed time. Do not
    prevent them from walking into the Wilderness manually because this is more in line with the original Runescape.

3. If a player scouts the Wilderness on a low level account and spots somebody to kill, then they log in to their other account in order to head to
    that destination, they should not be allowed to enter the Wilderness or use the portal while their scout is still inside the Wilderness. They must
    log out of their low level scout account before their other account can enter. Once they logout, the other account should be delayed by 2-3
    minutes before entering. This eliminates scouting and brings uncertainty to all players who choose to enter the wilderness.

4. Remove the portal from Castle. If people start walking up, we will see more PKers inside the lower level Wilderness like in the
    original Runescape.

5. Delays in portals in the Wilderness should be increased from 10 seconds to 40 seconds. You should not be able to flee the Wilderness so easily.
    It is a dangerous place.

These small changes will make the Wild more fun because other players become more difficult for you to kill. They are no longer as accessible to you. You have to look harder for each other. You have to wait longer to find them and you meet each other less often. Therefore, when you kill your enemy now, you enjoy your victory more. It actually means something. You can no longer scout the wilderness to check if it is safe to enter. This brings uncertainty and curiosity to enter the Wilderness. This brings more battles because you cannot see what is waiting for you or coming towards you. You must go and find out yourself. You are either brave or afraid. Once you enter, you cannot leave easily by teleporting in 10 seconds. The battles will also be on more equal terms because another account is not coming to cheat you. People start walking up the Wilderness more and spreading out. You see more fights occurring in lower level wilderness. This encourages solo pking and team pking simultaneously. Some players will depend on their friends to come and help them, whereas before they would have just used their other account. Others will enjoy solo PKing because they know another account cannot login to disturb their fight.

I have other ideas but everything mentioned here is a priority.
