Greetings, fellow RSCEmulation enthusiasts!

Today marks a very important announcement in the long history of RSCEmulation. As of this post, let it be public knowledge that RSCEmulation has undergone a transfer of ownership from Pyru to Sil. We would like to show appreciation to Pyru for everything he has done to keep RSCEmulation safe, secure, and alive all these years. Without him, RSCEmulation would have perished years ago. The future of the server has come to a crossroad, and with that being said, the parties involved have come to a mutual agreement that it is time for Sil to take the reigns, and lead us into a much-anticipated future. We would ask that you view this move as a stable and logical one. Sil has been working diligently during his time here to offer new landscape models, player assistance, and more. Without question, he is the leader of this Staff Team and I speak for everyone involved when I say that he is more than fit for the role. Without further ado, I’d like to highlight some key points about our vision moving forward:

- RSCEmulation is NOT going anywhere. This ownership change should prove that we are not only committed to a better future, but we are invested in it too. A lot of heart & soul has gone into this community over the years, and while we’ve had our fair share of hurdles along the way, we feel as confident as ever that we have the recipe for sustainability and transparency.

- You can expect real communication on important issues and updates regarding the server. No false promises or hope shall be made. We will be placing the utmost importance on setting realistic expectations & goals for this server, as well as completing them in a reasonable time-frame. Please remember that RSCEmulation was never intended to be an “RS2-lite”, but rather a retail Runescape Classic variation with custom content added outside of the regular map, plus other features that focus on improved gameplay. We will be adhering to that standard and working on perfecting the experience.

- We are fully equipped now to not only develop NEW content, but improving the server and features as a whole. This includes our brand new dedicated server (generating far less lag than the previous engine), website rendition, and finally mobile compatibility for the official website.

- V3 is going to remain. We want to make this clear. Though there hasn’t been any talk of this at all within the community, we want to reiterate that there will be no wipe and no restart. We understand that the history of V2 with Saders has left a rather bad taste in the collective mouths of this community. Rest assured, this will not be the case this go around. You are in GOOD, HONEST hands. I think most should agree that myself & Sil have always tried to carry ourselves with honest respect to the community, and we hope you trust us when we say we TRULY LOVE this game and everything we do is for you! Much love to all.

In conclusion, we ask that you give this new information time to soak, and we genuinely hope that you will see this move as one designed with the community in mind, above all else. RSCEmulation deserves the best effort we can give it, and we intend on doing so. It’s never been about competing with other servers for us, but rather ourselves. We know what lies ahead, and boy is it exciting! Lastly, I ask that you send your warmest regards and celebration to Pyru. We wish him nothing but success in life and his personal endeavors, and believe that we are better for having served under him.
