The new chat system is shit imo...
Cant we have the old one one and just add clan tab? It was way better, the new one is in the way and wont show pms if u have it hidden... same with banking tbh the old one was simple but it was good.

Yeah looks like a lot of ppl agree..
Would be nice to keep most of the game "emu" instead of replicating these other servers, I think that's why a lot of ppl came back here because the other servers have taken the changes too far...

Wild downsize, auction house, etc. is great, good work. Those are the updates we need.. but changing the small things like chat system and banking that worked fine and are "classic" isn't really needed.

+1 original didn't have any issues imo. I like the added tabs, but the old font and layout just worked great.

The only thing I really see wrong with the new chat system is:
- text isn't bold enough
- box isn't resizeable
- hide feature is nice, but you need to be able to chat as well
- some words get cut off randomly if sentence is too long

It honestly looks clean, we should fix the issues that you guys find with it rather than just abandoning ship on it. Honestly RSC has the worst chat system I have ever used in any MMO. Trying to improve it while keeping you guys happy is probably the best way to go about it.

I agree. Pull from the RSC chat strengths. On RSC, the integration without a 'box' (shaded in background) is pretty nice. Scroll never got in the way of banking or looting like on this new one, and definitely not bold enough, but that can all be updated. Like I said, the tabs are nice, and the ability to see older dialogue is also very nice.
