I wasn't expecting all of those options. Personally would like full stats with limited bank transfers from Unity. No GP or rares is fine with me. That isn't an option though..?
As much as I hate to start all over yet AGAIN, I think a clean slate is only fair for everyone and might be kinda refreshing for once. It would be nice to have a new, well ran server, with the emu set up, and a very stable economy. Make me feel like when i started in V1 all over again. Just my opinion though!
I'd prefer a clean slate but transferring a very limited amount of chars from all other private servers with only combat stats is reasonable. Once you start introducing skilling stats, items, it doesn't seem as exciting to start a new, fresh server.
no transfers. idc about my 40m and 40 sets of rune... a million fires and airs. I think im fucked over anyway as my old email address no longer works. I vote for a fresh start. 90m range xp wasnt that hard so im down for the struggle all over again.

A lot of people cant devote a ton of time to grinding and skilling to make enough gp to stake/pk; so starting with combat stats and some skills would be helpful to rebuild banks and get the new economy rolling. If items were also transferred the economy would be insta-ruined (like old emu days).
But the popular trend of new servers has been like:
Everyone trains combat up.. Then everyone skills/farms for gp.. Then player base drops cause people get bored of grinding.. Then nobody pk or stakes cause the few players that don't quit are still grinding.
How can we get people staking and pking sooner without having to grind for a month for stats/bank and potentially quit and without ruining an economy?

I nearly agree I think? Keep skilling stats and items from unity. Take away gp and rares. All new players that joined unity I gave them rune stuff and bits to get started, so newbies won't quit when they have full rune etc 🙂
For the economy to work, the auction house will dictate values for items. Hopefully this attempt of it will work and be better in the long run.
No one cares about banks or rares except the short few who only come here to stake pixels. If we could start with a couple builds, like flats n hybrids I'm sure you'd see a very active server. No one is going to grind for the 5th time, on a 5th server just to see no one pking and have everyone sit in edge with there "grinding" gp that bought em some rares.
Disable dueling for one day a week, set whole world wilderness with some safe spots obviously. Wilderness levels based on town activity (more players = higher level). Maybe make it so you dont lose anything if you die but you would spawn again in random location anywhere on the map (excluding some quest related areas)
Clean slate, there were like 30-40 people MAX that played unity, and if I'm not mistaken that was just swaps from other emulation servers. We are looking at 2-3 servers combined transferring to this one, I don't think it would be a good idea.
There is no chance that the V1 and 2 money and rares would be transferred. The main point is that whilst Unity was live, quite a few players played, and spent money on their shit. We stayed with Pyru. Personally I'm not asking for everything. I just want Unity Stats and skilling items. If you've ever had 99 smithing, you'd appreciate how long it takes.

In most peoples cases, they want their character transferred because of the skilling stats. Which is what I want out of all of this.. Combat stats are easy to get. Fair enough about items, I don't believe we need the full banks. But a bit of something such has ores/bars etc we have banked would be good. As (talking as a smither) we can then manufacture weapons and armor for people. And with the auction house. We can regulate the costs better instead of paying daft money for stuff.
