Im assuming you are on windows 10. Make sure you have java jre 1.8 installed. Get it here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/ & 33155.html

After installing java properly you may still need to use this:
Jarfix https://johann.loefflmann.net/downloads/jarfix.exe
fixes the .jar issues
