Small marked area beside the usual "38" edge area, that is MELEE only. its just annoying as hell having edge sitting rangers who just pop forward to shoot then pop backwards. Most aren't even on a team or anything, they just show up to screw everyone. No wonder 38 pking is so inactive.
Just suggesting a very small marked square, beside the usual area, starts at level wild lvl 2, melee only. People can use it as they wish. 100% optional.
I suggest it starting at lvl 2, so as not to take away normal 38 edge real estate, and give at least some range/mage danger getting in and out of it.
Or at least a 30 day trial, see what the response is.
Also, having an option for Melee only, allows people to make various stat combinations of varying defense, attack, strength, different types of armour, way more variety. The types of things that as of current don't make any sense to do because each of your "pk episodes" will only last 2.5 seconds no matter who you are or what your stats are, or what armour your wearing, makes no difference with 2-3 people shooting you down, thats why all 38s are homogeneously the same of no def, med att, high str. and even if you "win" your fight, you will still die .2 seconds later from arrows anyway... its no wonder someone will call up 38s to edge, a bunch of people will come, but 5 minutes later everyone quits to go do something else.
