If they bring back the old combat formula def would own pures in wild easy. Etc 60 1 99 wouldn't hit a 60 60 80 etc.
We need a formula thats as close to real runescape classic as possible, and in RSC you could get hit by a guard with 80+ def.
I think we should have a strength based formula, would be pretty good for both staking/pking.

I'm pretty sure rain wants it to be as close to original RSC as possible. RSCE v1 and v2 was no where near the same as original rsc.

Yes please, the combat formula on real rsc was the best formula, it gives everyone a chance in wild/staking, by that i mean, 40 attack can hit 80+ def.

It isnt ridiculous, no server has ever come close to Rsc. Hitting 0s on 1 Defence with High Attack and 40 Att able to effectively hit 80 Defence is how Rsc is, test it yourself anyone with a Membership can log on.

That being said, it is impossible to replicate the exact formula and messing around with it usually does more harm than good. If we had the real formula people would think it was terrible because they have been playing Private Servers for the last 10y and don't remember how real classic was.
