Is it removed or not? I see people with rune meds and pl8 walking past of me when im training smithing.. So whats the point to race for 99 smithing if rune is on the game anyways?

Wouldn't it be pointless for people to grind to get high level smithing if everyone could obtain rune items easily right off the hop? We are only removing the items for a limited time, to us and a lot of others, it makes sense.
YES +1,000,000
Smithers need to be MORE valuable as a source of items than a shopkeeper.
Here's 1 example.
You get 32 quest points and are barely strong enough to kill a 110 dragon, but can purchase several items that will protect you MAJORITY of your play time in RSC.
I have no need to farm rune legs, skirt, mace, long, short from ANY mob or need to purchase any of the above items from players that spend MONTHS to be able to smith Rune Legs. What's the point? 32 quest points to champions guild takes less than 1 day and accumulating 64k gp is not much effort with HIGH demand of materials from the AH.
Pking a rune long would actually be worth something, even 1 runite ore just to craft 1/3 bars for rune legs.
3 Rune bars for legs No shopkeeper Rune legs cost 64,000 divided by 3 bars.
Rune bars could potentially be valued at 20,000gp NO EXCEPTION with the requitement of obtaining rune gear through smithing or looting.
Potentially making RUNE items values as followed: Hatchet 20k Med Helm 20k Short Sword 20k Mace 20k Large 40k Sq Shield 40k Baxe 60k Legs 60k Skirt 60k Kite 60k Chain 60k Platemail 100k
Now, considering you have to PROVE yourself for rune plate, keeping Oziach to controll Rune Plate prices will help keep them under 100k ea.
Either way, Smithing players that bust ass for months are actually valuable and can control the prices baised off SUPPLY & DEMAND not through base price value set by an NPC.

Couldn't agree more, yet rune ore and bars are still expensive to buy if you can't mine them. Its extremely hard to mine as there is always one dick at rocks with 9842 accounts. To help everyone, there should be more rune rocks. The auction house is decreasing the price of all items as everyone lists something slightly lower than ones already listed etc. Which then makes stuff very very cheap yet skilling items are expensive. Its fucked and confusing lol..
