The thread got deleted as per issue being resolved.
Would you be able to elaborate on how it was resolved?
It was a general discussion thread about how exploits were used to generate a lot of gold early on in the release and I still don't know what happened to the gold, the exploiters and why thieving was gutted.
No one had 220M in cash. It was 22M. He was proven to be mistaken and deleted it. The only exploit was mass auto thieving, which is why they nerfed thieving.
We nerfed the rewards to thieving as well as the batch delay. See it from our perspective too please everyone, you have one player on 10 thievers, mass thieving an NPC and obtaining rates that far succeeded retail. Say you received a multiple of 150GP each successful thieve, x 10 accounts, you would be getting 1.5K a pop.
Something needed to be done in order to keep our economy stable, without also giving players the ability to be filthy rich within a few days. Now not everyone was autoing, we get that, but it was still a decision we needed to make for the betterment of the servers longevity and stability of the economy (as previous stated).

Does that mean fishing is going to get nerfed now that there are multiple people (including me) fishing on 6+ accounts?
wc/mining are kind of immune to it because of nodes breaking, but with batch you can still get multiple attempts for an item from broken nodes.
is multi-box skilling the real problem?
Gold is not the same as consumable items. Consumable items do not usually stay on the server, yet gold does (with the exception of "sinks"). If there is too much gold, prices fluctuate to insane amounts, and renders the economy unpleasant.

Stop lying fag, I didn't delete it. You bugged the shit out of runecrafting by making souls on any altar and then when someone reported it you still got to keep all your experience and runes/gp. You need to be banned.

It wasn't even me who he saw with it. I made under 20M on RC.
