Prayer & Magic: Produce a new bone that gives more exp. That is harder to get. A new NPC, stronger, bigger and harder to get to only drops them. Make it require 99 magic or a higher agility level to get to the area.
Woodcutting/Fletching/Smithing I thought about this one as woodcutting is one of the most boring stats. In real life terms, we cut wood for many uses. So is it possible to manufacture something from wood other than arrows and bows ? Can anyone remember the dwarf cannons? You used to buy or find pieces of a cannon and then use them in the wild? If we can involve the skills to create parts, it gives us a goal to achieve those stats. It also increases the numbers of potential pkers in the wild. I'm not that fussed about pking I'd rather stake, but if I can stand there with a cannon shooting people can come close, I'm game.
Mining/Smiting New ores/bars/armor/weapons Creating a new ore, one maybe better than rune, such as dragon. Place it near dragons. Make it harder to mine, harder to smith. Make the rewards of mining and smithing it greater than just being able to buy it. Casting a spell on the smithed item, enchants it which then can't be traded. That weapon would then be better than what you can buy. All giving the player the need to skill and use what they have created/worked for.
Guilds/Quests Make them mandatory to wear such items. Like the rune plate. Do the quest and you can wear it. Legends guild. Bring back the skill level and restrictions to allow access into it. The legends cape, all the stakers (61s I'm aiming at) have same armor and weapon. Enforce you need a certain skill points level to wear the cape. That gives an advantage then. Make the player want to wear and be the best.
That also corresponds to what I wrote above about new ores etc. Put them in places where you need to work to be able to get them.(In the guilds) Unity didn't have them guidelines, although it was fun. I think it needs more structure.
I couldn't think of anything worse than doing the quests back in Jagex RS. But if it meant I could use a dragon long, rune plate and the legends cape and not many others couldn't... That works as an advantage to me in stakes.
Crafting: With reference above to being able to manufacture something and use it. Create being able to craft a piece of metal/machinery to help build the cannon for example. Amulets get boring to make, and to be honest once you've made a few and everyone has one, they become obsolete. Although a new amulet with a higher needed crafting level and powers would be good. You could introduce then, a new gem. With a new mining rock as to where it comes from..
Mikko, Lyska, and any others who made it to 99 crafting. Congrats because that takes some effort.
Good ideas, but honestly most of the community likes classic as is and do not want so much custom stuff added.
I like cannon being added, would be great for training and fun in general. I don't ever recall seeing a cannon in wild for pking tho, I would not allow it in wilderness myself. I would say keep cannon requirement as is, complete quest and buy from vendor. Allow smithers to make the balls.
Quests required for dragon weapons, rune pl8, klanks, legends etc could be fun, possibly add a npc to buy the quest items from (if you want to skip the quest, or don't want to get the xp requirement/reward from quest).
New high level monster for better bones wouldn't hurt, but not really needed. In the past lvl 50 baby blue drags dropped regular dragon bones, so prayer wasn't necessarily very difficult.

Some of the ideas here are pretty decent but I personally have always liked RSCE because of its more vanilla nature as a private server. That being said I did have a good amount of fun with dragon armor, but I also busted my ass for weeks to get a set... honestly the drop rates were intense until they dropped that black mace.
I’m pretty sure you could have used the cannon in the wilderness. Would make pking cool. It’s just something else we can buy and use and possibly lose in the wild.
I am not that sure about the others. Personally, i just think that there shouldn't be too much new stuff to be added. Though, a new high level npc that has better drop rates for some items would be cool.

Emu had dragon armor before ? Yea I hope the quests for the use of certain items is implemented.

Yes, well. There was a dragon armor back then, but it just didin't work out that well though.. It was also implemented bit too fast and not that correct way in my opinion.

Yea I agree. Now, at least we have some creative and sensible developers 🙂
If dragon armour was actually made look more interesting than just with Basic picturemask recolor 16711748... Then MAYBE maybe. But I still dont see what good it would bring to game

HAAAA the black mace that thing was the sh%$ !! Full drag is a must
PLEASE do not mandate the completion of quests in order to wear rune plate or dragon long, or any other item. There are people who like to do quests, and those people will do the quests one way or another. The majority though, like me, will not ever do a single quest under any circumstance. Make the quests completable of course, but we're like 30 years old now. MOST of us have no interest in interacting with RSC NPCS lol.
