After a long week of successful events, the time has come for our finale. Our finale will be held tomorrow, Sunday, March 25th, at 2PM PST/5PM EST. Our finale event, will be held at the same place as our previous event, Varrock square and garden. The event will consist of a variety of rares, dropped at random.
Effective immediately of this post, the following changes have also been made, to our previous automated events:
- Removed event chests. - We will be keeping the 2 hour giveaways. - All rares will be added to our NPC's (monsters) drop tables. - Moderators will still hold a few events (time to be determined based on their availability).
We planned for this event to be in Varrock again, simply for Nostalgia, and the fact that the area is ideal for such an event. Judging by the last event there, it was a large success, but forced us to tweak our client just to be able to handle the player load. That on it's own, is a great achievement, and for that we would like to thank you again.
We would like this event to surpass our last, let's make this one, the one to remember. We hope to see you all there!
Thanks again for all the time and energy. It was a great week, and I think the number of rares dropped will prove to be just right over the course of time.
If you need a money sink still, you could always raise the price on them. If not, You guys could always remove or keep them from the shop and make them at a slightly lower rate for universal mobs for grinding. Possibly add a slim chance when skilling if applicable? I would suggest adding it to the legends guild to promote questing, but i'm sure not a lot of people wouldnt go for it as for questing goes on alternative accounts. If you have the willpower and time, maybe set a tradable specific xp booster to certain skills for skilling or training on that skill.

The cost of the Exlixirs, needs to be in correlation to the cost of a sub. A sub lasts 30 days for x2. The Exilixirs 2 hours at 30k..
I'd like them to stick around too.
True, but remember that the subs are based off the market of the player which can easily change with a shift in the market. As for a shop item is set no matter the economy unless its changed again by the admins. i wouldn't raise it much, but a bit higher, seeing that most gear can be earned in a day or two from skilling, it shouldn't be hard for anyone to carry extra cash. Either way, it still will make a decent money sink to those who want to level. just that 30k for 4 hours of exp seems kinda low in the market. Thats like quickly fishing 100 swordfish and selling them off for 4 hours of an exp increase. Gotta have some value to the exp multiplier as its a pretty stout increase overtime
Thanks for the events, its been a great week, unfortunately I was unable to log on for the sunday drop party, just said "connecting to server", but I had a great week on RSCEmulation!
I agree, I would also like the elixir to stick around, great idea!
In my opinion this event period failed hard and my positive attitude is replaced with disappointment.. It is just my opinion and I understand that most of you are very happy with what happened but you will see the consequences in this year already. I really hope you will find the backup plan how to fix what you just did (meant for the RSCE team). I am sad that this was really short shot for me but I am happy that I had this experience, thank you! Players who want to succeed in this game, I suggest you to learn from Yuri or Evans, they are legit smart players.
I think he's says the economy will be ruined... Not sure I agree with that.
As far as I can see, the events were awesome, I really enjoyed all the crazy action we had this past week. So, so many ppl online, almost like the good old days of early 2000. Well done to all the staff! Let's keep it rolling!
