getting flats takes just way too long. I am subbed and it still feels so slow.... I dont see how it would hurt to make the process abit faster. or atleast give us double exp for some time ?

+1 I agree that there should be double XP hours ingame. Like some hours weekends orsmt. More people, more activity
The economy is already set up well, with double xp if you're subbed you could get up to 30x xp...which I think is just way too much! There are ways of utilizing the training areas with the right tool(subscription card) and also you need to have some patience with the process. It's rewarding at the finish line.

id say its pointless grind. No one benefits from us wasting time just to get flats. Its 2018 not 2003 anymore.
I'd wager creating a card (like a sub card) for an hour of double-xp would be highly beneficial to the game. Could be purchased with only in game currency and would take gold out the game, thus increasing the value of items. An hour of double xp wouldn't be too bad and people could choose when to use it so it appeals to all timezones. Just put it in a shop for like 100-150k and make it untradeable.
When you say double are you meaning 2x like the elixirs were or a genuine double like 30x? Honestly, 15x is more than plenty... it's fast. If you can't get flats at 15x, 16x in wild in a couple months of casual play you are doing something wrong.
If you are taking 2x like elixirs, then I'd say yes there are skills that would be extremely useful for.
I would say that a compromise might work pretty well, in the form of 2x to 4x additional EXP for combat stats only, and then only in the wilderness. That way, it won't affect the economy at all, but it will incentivize people to create at least 1 flats character, and even additional pkers of many levels. He makes a great point that it's not 2003 anymore, and thus the people who only play to PK aren't really benefitting from a grind like skillers are (since skillers enjoy the process of gaining levels in non-combat skills).
I think it'd be smart to announce to the community as part of an update that only combat EXP in the wilderness will be raised. I bet a good 30 or 40 people will appreciate it. I also agree that it does take a little too long to get stats above 90 for adults with full-time jobs.

This. We enjoy Pking, let us pk, they enjoy grinding, let them grind. There's like 15 pkers left in the server who will fight against eachother twice a week, Pkers just cbf to come back and make accounts for the 5th time and no life for months to have a list u can compete with.

Prayer, ranged, mage also? I like the idea, 2-3x, combat only, wilderness only. But also think this should be in the form of a combat elixir, untradeable, as a gold sink in game, doesn't need to be much, 30k for a few hours of 2-3x, like event elixirs were. Could even add it to the monster drop table. Only works in wild and only on combat stats.
Approximately it is a 200 hour investment on a subscribed lvl 3 to reach flats. I personally believe there should be some accomplishment behind reaching these stats still and I find the current experience rates to be more than sufficient.
-1 to raising rates, respectfully. Would be open to opportunities where players could get small boosts of experience for a short duration of time such as the recent holiday elixir though, provided they take some type of effort to obtain.
Great ideas from everybody, we certainly see the difficulty of having a full time job and obtaining the desired stats on your character (I live this), on the flip side we also see how rewarding it is to the people who spend extra time in game to reach flats. I think we’re onto somehting with the “Holiday” Elixir and will discus how we can imcorporate some form of this.

It's nothing to do with building one flats. The issue with the current setup across all servers is to PK efficiently you need 3-4 Flats to compete against teams/multiers. Now factor in having a decent list of level 30-90 pkers. You're looking at a thousand+ hours of logging in every 20 minutes. Pointless and outdated.

This. This is what 99% of mods/admins seem to fail to understand these days, and this is exactly the reason we have 15 pkers left on the whole damn server. They better come up with a solution how to get pkers back considering the other place is gonna do xfers in the future..
