Although i agree with some of your points, i added you to my ignore list in game this morning for being the toxic garbage in global you are referring too...
I think it was something along the lines of how women don't deserve respect from you...
Childish.

Some players don't care whatsoever about pking. That's actually a thing. I don't want to be pushed toward doing something I hate. If people want to PK fine, if they want to recruit friends to come PK with them, also fine. Don't push skillers to PK. Pkers and skillers are two different breeds, and BOTH are dying equally. I've read through all of this and read comments about no server paying attention or catering to PKers etc. This is absolute hogwash. Pkers are extremely pampered. The skill rates on this server are like 10x, that kills 90% of all skilling in favor of getting end game content into the hands of Pkers quickly so that they do not have to skill. When you can level 4x rune miners and a smith inside of 1 month simultaneously, pkers rule the world. Good luck if your a skiller trying to sell a hard earned lot of mith ore, tuna fish, or any mid-game skilling content. You max out, sell all your shit to pkers for pennies, and have nothing left to grind. Meanwhile pkers go OMGAWD my afk combat rate is too low plz boost. It's already 10x the original speed. The game itself is meant to be a grind, getting 99 prayer is meant to be prestigious, so is 99 str or anything else. Remember back in the day when you didn't even have a flats on RSC, but you still PK'd lower levels at border? That's because you didn't have time to train flats. A lot of those pkers in the 30s back then... that was the main account. And it was a struggle for some to be able to provide food for that account. And when you got a pk, that addy set or whatever FELT FUCKING GOOD. The PK loot back then mattered. Now you can get flats in a week or two, and have multiple rune miners generating a never ending supply of rune sets for the same effort it took back then to get the level to mine mithril. And everyone sits and scratches their heads like it's some big mystery as to why Pking is dead. It doesn't matter to anyone but the players already doing it. The initial draw of pking back in 2001 was that the loot felt good. REALLY good. No new player is going to get on here and go YEAH LET ME GO PK. Just to get piled by multiples (expecially on same IPs). Tbh, I referred several of my family and old friends to the rsc community, and they found toxic chats and left as well. "A bunch of stupid toxic druggies" they said. Now why would I ever try to refer a friend into that? Without word of mouth the community will die. We need to advertise, and grow the fuck up and be on good behavior when the new players arrive. If you pile the fuck out of them in the wild, don't complain when they only want to skill after that or quit entirely.
you're such a fucking clueless about everything that it's ridiclous. player who prefers to PK, he plays this game just because of PK'ing and all those steps from making that account to actually being able to use it properly, is pain in the ass. that guy who prefers skilling, is clicking those pixelated rocks to obtain some ores because he enjoys the whole progress of having higher skill total - that's the difference. why would any PK'er join in here, to start again from the scratch, to re-create all those things he had in the past because PK'ing isn't about progress or achieving different goals, it's all about PK'ing - nothing else. why would PK'ers get discriminated by doing something they don't like, because all of that could be easily avoidable? would it make any sense to have your account chopping those trees automatically and after X amount of time, your account is fatigued and you pause your TV series for a 30 seconds, just to do a sleeping bag and then going back to watching that TV? how you would feel in the end, would it feel like you're achieving something? if the whole point of skilling is to achieve something, to see the progress and i'd guess that would just destroy the whole point of doing it, right? so if it destroys the whole point of doing it, why are PK'ers training those accounts while watching netflix, because it has nothing to do with the actual gameplay? because some guy designed it to be like that 20 years ago? it was then, everything has changed, yet this game hasn't adapted when it comes to making an accounts at all. if XP rate for combat stats would be 0.0001x, atleast people would be within 1-3 combat levels from eachother so 100% of the PK'ers would be PK'ing at the same level but that's not the point of it, the point is to actually have very limited playerbase to PK'ing in different levels, to actually have a PK'ing scene which could work in theory with this amount of people.
not like i really "care" about any of this, it's just funny how i haven't seen a legitmate reason to actually have XP rates for combat stats instead of removing them completely/leaving them as an option to train your account in a traditional way. it ain't a secret that the more options there is, more fair it becomes and when time based training is the only option in a 100-200 player game, can't nothing but shake my head.
