Pegi give me a timeline on v1, v2, rev, all the times this server had reset/started. Me beingv rather new i'm not sure what version i played previously. If it get people paying again, i see no harm in bringing accounts over from other versions. Stats only.
i think the general idea should be that whatever it takes to get people playing, it should be done. it doesn't really matter what it is and the fact is that the more people there are, the more valuable it is to spend your time in here.
funniest part is the fact that if you make a poll about something which would possibly bring back alot of people or make this server more populated in general, there's always certain amount of people against it because they feel it's unfair or something. now they want this more populated, but what they're actually willing to do for it? basically answer is nothing and i'd suggest everyone swallowing their egos, and thinking the big picture instead of their little ass who is just 1 piece of the whole puzzle.
Edit: and answering to your question, V1 ended about 2014 i think. V2 did open like august 2014 and continued couple of years from there.

3) Some more spots in wild with pvm content (black dragons/blue dragons) - You can replace mobs like the Earth Warriors in Edge dungeon with mobs that would be killed more often
4) Achievements - Your first kill (kill someone skulled in the wilderness) - Cold blooded killer (kill 100 skulled people in the wilderness) - Massacre (kill 1000 skulled people in the wilderness) - Nostalgic moment (create a character using the Classic mode) - You're a wizard, Harry (cast a God spell) - Quest achievements - Skill achievements (to go along with capes) - Mob kill achievements (1000 black demons/1000 kbds) - Achievements must vary in difficulty. They need to be classified as easy, medium, hard, and possibly legendary achievements/tasks. - To combat against farmers, make it to where you do not get credit towards your achievement for killing someone with the same name every 5-10 mins and you do not get any credit if you kill someone on the same IP as you
5) Titles (much like clan names, just place the text on top or alongside the name) - Most of these can be rewarded from quests/achievements
6) Some form of distractions & diversions (clue scrolls, for instance)
7) Continued effort on border pking (achievements could assist with this; kill 100 skulled players in level 3 wilderness or below)
8) Add in new prayers - 42 = Protect from poison (cannot be poisoned; does not cure poison) - 52 = Smite (drain opponents prayer on hit) - 60 = Thieve's Luck (decreases chance of failure when thieving) - 62 = Berserk (increase attack & strength +20%/decrease defense -10%) - 70 = Defender (increase defense & attack +20%/decrease strength -10%) - 75 = Protect from Dragonfire (negates all dragonfire damage)

^^^and add a reduced magic damage prayer at level 80 maybe. Didn't the used to be a dungeon in edge in v1? High level npc and some skill stuff? Bring something like that back around.

Weekly updates, any of these ideas are better than nothing. DO SOMETHING! Today we barely got 50 online. Regular updates could bring this back, maybe. Doing nothing and talking about doing something will definitely just let this die. It's your choice developer team.
