Super old but i thought you guys thought it be fun to read this again, At least let this stick for a few weeks so people can look at it)

Required to complete the quest
45 thieving (required to get the christmas tree)
37 prayer (required to survive) 15 p pots+
33+ magic (helpful for telegrapping the quest items)
1-99 ranged: Optional

faster completion:
flats (99 attack, strength, Defence)
80+ magic (godspells or iban blast)
99 prayer

Its important that you DO NOT try to complete quest without all 3 items in your inventory. It will stuck your character and you WILL NOT be able to logout. ::Stuck does not work. If this would happen to you anyway simply ask a mod, admin or developer to kick you. after that the problem should be solved.

Start by talking to the santa and accept the quest. It can be hard to get to talk to him if many people are trying to do the same. just have patience 🙂

Then go ahead and kill grinch minions for santa´s lost toysack

Then locate and steal back the stolen christmas tree ! (45 thieving)

after that you find grinch and kill him! This can be done with melee, ranged or mage.
Godspells and ibanblast is the easyest, best way to kill him. Thought it might take a few
grinch before you actually recieve santa´s lost hat

but keep on trying and you might just get it 🙂

Now you should have all 3 items required to get the reward !
