Greetings RSCEmulation enthusiasts!

We are pleased to announce a few updates and fixes that we are confident will enhance your experience here at RSCEmulation. Now that we've had some time to test and gauge how the community felt about the new Viking release, we have expanded on the lair itself while also fixing a few things along the way.

Viking Shortcut Exit

We feel that because of the challenge the Undead Viking presents, an exit strategy was needed to ensure you are rewarded for your efforts in traversing the difficult path. This shortcut has a few things we'd like you to be aware of at this time.

1. Presently, there is NO AGILITY requirement to navigate the stepping stones. This will change in the near future so as to reward those who have trained the Agility skill.
2. Attempting to navigate the stepping stones shortcut will yield a 50-50 success rate.
3. You can, and chances are you will be, injured. Exercise caution.
4. You cannot walk back upon crossing the stepping stones.

Miscellaneous Viking Add-ons & Fixes

The Undead Viking has also undergone some other neat changes as well.

1. He has now been "buffed", making him a bit stronger than he was previously (because come on, he's the toughest NPC in-game, right?).
2. He will now "trash-talk" your character when engaged in battle. Not a bad touch, eh?
3. Fixed a Paralyze Monster prayer bug that could enable the player to use the prayer in the lair. This has been corrected.

New Skill Island

There is a brand new, totally original Skilling Island released! Skill Island will be available every Saturday for all members to enjoy at their leisure. We are excited to provide a relaxing and efficient island for our fellow players to earn some much-needed experience and loot. There is also a very nice melee area downstairs, complete with altars! Please note: Logging out while on Skill Island will automatically send your player to Edgeville.
