For this next round of updates, we are pleased introduce features and upgrades that should prove both useful & efficient. Please take a moment to review the latest changes!
Stat Panel & Combat Formula
After much debate, the decision was made recently to remove the Stat Panel in-game and revert the combat formula to a direct replication of V1. Removing the stat panel was a move credited with being influenced by the staking community. This also means that you’ll need to train up various character builds for the many forms of engagement in-game such as: having a “main”, pker hybrids, stakers, etc. With this will also come a better sense of stability within the staking community. With the Stat Panel removed, everyone’s experience will reset to what was stored in a cache file, so if you were a Level 123 account and you “statted down” to a level 61, you’ll find that you’ve been reverted to a Level 123.
Server Performance Upgrades
You should find that RSCEmulation has undergone a lot of server performance upgrades to ensure an overall smoother gameplay with less lag.
New Gameplay Features
- The Deathmatch Arena is finally back and better than ever! The portal location has been added and a known bug with the previous system has been fixed. Happy DMing! - A couple more event areas have been added outside of the original landscape! - Drop Party Chests System Event. Please note: A staff member will need to activate it.
Miscellaneous Upgrades & Content
- Edgeville has gotten a minor makeover! We hope you all enjoy this minor addition, as it will make it feel more like a home town. - ::Skill command added for quick-teleporting to Skill Island while event is running. - Fixed logout bug on Skill Island. - Chat/private message system has been upgraded. - Batching for burying bones depending on prayer level. - Sidney Smith fixed in Yanille (Dragon Bones All To Bank/All From Bank function). - Warning message and confirmation box when ::Event is set in the wilderness. - Display message for players who log in and players who are already logged in: a message will display showing an ::Event is active and what type of event is happening. - Gnome Balls! Hey, it’s a past-time, right? - Expanded bank spaces with an additional 40 slots. (240 total, up from 200). - Additional character list slots on the Friend’s List (300 total, up from 200). - Wilderness Status Indicator bug has been patched. - 'P2P Wednesdays' warning has been removed. Level 1-48 will always be F2P and 48+ will always be P2P. - Player avatars are now being generated for each player session. - Updated server libraries to latest. - Player direction has been updated to face North upon login. - [m] modified indicator has been removed. - Monsters can now be higher level than 255. - Fixed a bug where it was possible for players to be standing with P2P items outside the level 48 wilderness gate. - Skill Island is now an automated event. - Fixed Android Application Updater - Note: You will have to uninstall and download latest APK. - PC Client has been updated to work for all the latest Java versions (9, 10, 11).
Viking Maintenance
- Added a requirement level of 85 agility for the shortcut. - The Viking's combat level has been adjusted to 295

We hope you enjoy this current list, but if it doesn't quite satiate your hunger, maybe the upcoming Lottery System and Viking Artificial Intelligence will! The lottery system was used in the past to much celebration, and it will be making a comeback! We've long had a vision of the Undead Viking being totally unique to the game's current bestiary. With that vision has come some really cool & interactive features that will give the Undead Viking a mind of its own. Stay tuned!

Can we have automated or improved runecrafting events as well? Currently, the event has been a very, very big hit and miss (very shortened period) and if one misses that very short period of the event (which is very very random and out of the blue), God knows when the next one will ever be, and will there ever be a chance for some people to participate since the window period is so short.
V1 transfers are done, will be sending an email out soon (most likely tomorrow), and hopefully bring some people back 🙂
Does this mean the email addresses associated with V2 will reveice emails? My accounts before have the same names as now(some of them), so will I be able to activate the characters with different names?
the high lvl wildy dungeon is incorrectly set to a f2p zone now (fire giants, etc.)
When were these changes supposed to go live? I'm not seeing the bank spots, nor any changes to Edgeville...
Yes the fire giant dungeon was accidently set to F2P, that will be fixed soon. There also seems to be a bug with the extra bank spots so that's being looked into as well. The minor change with Edgeville is the newly paved roads, there used to be only grass and it wasn't as wide as it is now.

Combat formula is a very close, if not direct replicate of V1. Whatever you are experiencing is due to dumb luck, as the equation is virtually spot on. Also, we previously opened transfers in the past as part of a "window of opportunity" (being that they were closed directly after). We will be re-opening the transfer tool.

For sure! I can add a fountain tomorrow morning when I'm on.
I would also like to say thank you to all of you who are continuing to support us. We're working as hard as we can to make you all happy, and there will be much more coming ?

Just that now with transfers available I have a heap of pkers to bring over, however would like to fine tune stats as I already have new builds on this version...

We will definitely bring back the option to "sub-down" a character very soon. This was implemented in the past and very useful. Thanks for asking 🙂
