Hi, make sure you have the latest java downloaded and also confirm the launcher is using java to open, by right clicking the client and selecting open with.

if you still can't get java to run programs, uninstall all versions of java and google search for an outdated JDK base that's for xp or vista. Right click it's installer and in properties check compatibility mode and run as whichever outdated operating system the installer is for. Then run the JDK using the same process. For some reason no matter how many times I get a new Java directory it wont run Java apps on W10, therefore I use compatibility and run an older version and this always works without any error.
