As a returning player I have no idea where they are and no one ones to share their location, or how to kill them because they are greedy bois.

There is a guide posted here in section A9 for the Viking.
As for the Chaos Imp, there is no guide for it, it spawns randomly in the wilderness. Half the challenge is to find it
